Single Engine Water Scooper (SEWS)

The Idaho Department of Lands is soliciting proposals for an exclusive‑use contract to provide four Type‑4 single‑engine water‑scooper (SEWS) aircraft, qualified pilots, crew, and all required support equipment for statewide fire‑suppression operations. The contractor must supply the aircraft, maintain inter‑agency carding and airworthiness, operate from two designated bases (Coeur d’Alene and McCall), and guarantee 80 days of daily availability per aircraft each contract year, with additional standby and night‑over pay as needed. The effort runs a base year through Dec 31 2026 with up to four one‑year option extensions through Dec 31 2030.
