Aircraft Loading Ramps

The US Air Force is seeking sources for three sets of aircraft loading ramps for use with C-5, C-17, and C-130 aircraft. The loading ramps must meet specific minimum specifications, including being made of lightweight, durable military-grade aluminum, modular and portable, and compatible with the specified aircraft. The ramps must also have a maximum contact pressure of less than 50 PSI and be able to handle a maximum axle weight of 8,000 lbs. The contractor will be responsible for delivering the ramps to the specified location within 90 days of the contract award date. Some key points to consider are: • The loading ramps must be compatible with C-5, C-17, and C-130 aircraft. • The ramps must have a maximum contact pressure of less than 50 PSI. • The system must be rated at 8,000 lb. max axle, with each ramp section able to handle 4,000 lbs. • The contractor must deliver the ramps to the specified location within 90 days of the contract award date. • The contractor must include shipping costs in the quotation as a separate line item.
