The Navajo Nation Department of Information Technology is soliciting proposals to design, supply, install, and maintain a Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network across the Nation, using Tarana G1 equipment. The effort includes site surveys, RF planning in the 5‑GHz/6‑GHz unlicensed bands, power system design (‑48 V DC for base nodes and PoE for remote nodes), installation of up to 4 base nodes and 28 remote nodes, testing, and ongoing maintenance. Vendors must submit a full technical solution, cost proposal (including the mandatory 6 % Navajo sales tax), and required qualification documentation by the stated deadline.
• Scope: Survey, design, frequency & capacity planning, equipment provision (Tarana G1 BNs & RNs), power systems, installation, testing (RFC 2544/EtherSAM), and maintenance plan.
• Scale: Up to 32 locations (4 base nodes, 28 remote nodes) with minimum throughput of 100 Mbps per site and aggregate 1 Gbps per base node.
• Requirements: PDF‑only electronic submission, inclusion of Navajo Preference certification if claimed, and adherence to Navajo procurement statutes.
• Evaluation: 100‑point rubric covering qualification, vendor confidence, financial health, project plan, and insurance.
