The Iowa Department of Public Defense is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grounds‑maintenance services for the West Des Moines Army Readiness Center. The work includes weekly mowing of roughly 13.5 acres, monthly mowing of about 5 acres, seasonal weed‑spraying of fence lines and rock beds, and a one‑time spring mulch installation for 256 trees and nine mulch beds. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment (including a 60‑inch commercial mower), and materials, hold the required Iowa commercial pesticide applicator licenses, and comply with Integrated Pest Management best practices and strict safety/storage rules.
