Solid Waste Collection

The Town of Abington is seeking proposals for residential curbside recycling and trash collection services. The contract term will be for three years, with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms. The successful proposer will be required to provide weekly automated or semi-automated curbside collection of recyclables and trash, as well as yard waste collection twice per year. The proposer must also provide a price proposal for the services, including disposal fees and transportation costs. The Town reserves the right to negotiate terms with the selected proposer and to reject any or all proposals. • The proposal must include a technical proposal and a price proposal. • The technical proposal should describe the proposer's experience and qualifications, as well as their approach to providing the required services. • The price proposal should include all costs associated with providing the services, including disposal fees and transportation costs. • The proposer must also provide a performance bond equivalent to 100% of the first-year contract.
