Request for Quotations (RFQ) to clean, sanitize and seal its raw and potable water storage facilities

The American Embassy Monrovia is seeking a contractor to clean, sanitize, and seal its raw and potable water storage facilities. The contractor will be responsible for determining the appropriate pressure for pressure washing the tanks without introducing damage or compromise. The contractor will also be required to seal/coat the tanks with at least one layer of "Sika Top 209 Reservoir Grey" or a functional equivalent. The Embassy will supply electrical power to enable the contractor to execute the work. Key points to consider: • The contractor must follow the procedures outlined on page 32 of the solicitation. • A performance bond from a financial institution registered or licensed under the Central Bank of Liberia will be considered acceptable. • The contractor is responsible for draining the tanks. • The contractor must work within normal working hours (0800-1700 Mon-Thursday, 0800-1200 Friday). • The contractor must provide a comprehensive cleaning report and documentation of any issues encountered.
