Description
The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking qualified contractors to remove an existing insulated rolling steel service door at the Children’s Research Institute and install a new corrosion‑resistant insulated rolling steel door, reusing the existing electric operator. The scope includes demolition, disposal, new door assembly, integration of the existing operator, testing, and commissioning. This RFQ is open to firms with experience in industrial door installation and mechanical/electrical integration.
• Remove and dispose of the existing insulated rolling steel door.
• Supply and install a new corrosion‑resistant insulated rolling steel door assembly.
• Reuse and integrate the existing overhead door electric operator, including testing and commissioning.
• Provide all labor, materials, permits, and disposal services required for complete installation.
