Sample Testing

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking information from industry to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of companies to provide sample testing services. The requirement is for the establishment of a single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the testing of metal coupons to aid the QA process of the components with which these coupons are associated. The Contractor's laboratory facility must be validated by the USACE Materials Testing Center (MTC) and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 certification throughout the life of the agreement. The testing services include chemical analysis, hardness tests, tension tests, and impact tests according to various ASTM standards. The Contractor will receive samples, machine appropriate specimen shapes, test samples, and submit reports of the test results.
