Description
The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Africa is issuing a market‑research Request for Information to gather capability data for a future five‑year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The BPA will cover a broad portfolio of laboratory consumables, diagnostic reagents, sequencing platforms, IT hardware/software, and related maintenance and support services to be delivered to WRAIR facilities in Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria. Vendors are asked to indicate whether they can supply each listed item as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or as an authorized reseller, and to provide any required manufacturer‑authorization documentation. No pricing is requested at this stage; the information will be used to shape the eventual BPA.
• Scope includes high‑throughput sequencers (Illumina, Oxford Nanopore), library‑prep kits, viral capture probes, bio‑informatics workstations, and microbiology identification systems (VITEK 2).
• Annual maintenance contracts and software/firmware support are also part of the requirement, with compliance to TAA, TPM 2.0, and government vulnerability‑scan policies.
• Response must be submitted by 18 Nov 2026 10:00 a.m. EST via email to the listed contacts; the BPA ordering period is projected from 31 Mar 2027 to 30 Mar 2032.
