Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a full roof restoration and complete HVAC system replacement at the Terrytown Head Start Center. The base bid covers demolition of existing ground‑mounted condensing units and ceiling air handling units, installation of a new VRF heat‑pump system with associated piping, electrical work, ground pads, and controls, as well as architectural support for ceiling grid removal and re‑installation. An optional alternate provides a 100 % high‑solids silicone roof coating over the existing metal roof, delivering a 20‑year warranty. Bidders must submit electronic sealed bids by 2:00 p.m. on 19 Nov 2026, include a 5 % bid bond, and be prepared to furnish performance and payment bonds. A non‑mandatory pre‑bid conference is scheduled for 30 Oct 2026.
