The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office (DSO) is issuing a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) inviting innovative, revolutionary research proposals across four technical thrust areas—Materials, Manufacturing & Energy Systems; Sensing, Measuring & Affecting; Math, Computation & Processing; and Complex, Dynamic & Intelligent Systems. Proposals must be novel, not merely evolutionary improvements, and can be submitted as executive summaries, abstracts, or full proposals on a rolling basis until August 27 2027. Multiple award instruments are available (Cooperative Agreements, Procurement Contracts, Other Transaction for Research/Prototype) with an optional accelerated award for projects ≤ $2 million.
