INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR POLK COUNTY EMPLOYEES AND ASSETS

Polk County is seeking a qualified insurance broker/agent to provide an insurance program that protects the County's employees and assets. The program should include coverage for property, excess liability, excess workers' compensation, medical/professional liability, crime, conservation, and equestrian. The provider should have experience working with municipalities and have a strong understanding of the County's insurance program. The proposal should include information on the provider's experience, qualifications, and approach to providing the required services. • The provider must have all necessary permits, licenses, and professional credentials to perform the services. • The provider must submit up to 3 carriers of their choice for each line of coverage. • The provider must include a statement on their company's environmental sustainability initiatives and/or short- and long-term goals to reduce the effects of climate change. • The provider must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to equal employment and non-discrimination.
