Wastewater Laboratory Analysis

The Town of Narragansett is seeking bids from laboratories certified by the State of Rhode Island to perform wastewater laboratory analysis services. The successful bidder will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on samples from the Scarborough Wastewater Treatment Facility and the Narragansett Pretreatment program. The contract will be for a one-year period, with the option to extend annually. The bidder must provide a price per test breakdown along with a lump sum total. The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in the bids received, and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the town's interests. Some key points to consider are: * The laboratory must be certified by the State of Rhode Island and have experience in wastewater laboratory analysis. * The laboratory must be able to provide sample collection and analysis 365 days per year, except on certain holidays. * The laboratory must be located within 50 miles of the Scarborough Wastewater Treatment Facility. * The town reserves the right to visit the laboratory to observe procedures and techniques. * The laboratory must provide immediate notification of any bacteriological exceedances to the designated town officials. * The laboratory must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
