Description
The City of Auburn, Maine is seeking a qualified vendor to completely remount its existing 2017 Type I ambulance bodies onto new 4×4 chassis, refurbishing the bodies and installing a suite of upgrades. The work includes stripping, inspecting, repairing, repainting, replacing seals, latches, interior upholstery, lighting (LED conversion), HVAC components, and installing new wiring harnesses, followed by fitting the refurbished body to a new, current‑production chassis that meets specified 4×4 and V8 requirements. Optional upgrades may be proposed. All work must be delivered FOB Auburn, Maine, with a 5 % bid bond, 10 % retainage, and a 5‑year warranty.
