Temporary Property & Casualty Actuarial Rate Review Services Vendor

The North Dakota Insurance & Securities Department is seeking up to five qualified actuarial firms to provide temporary property and casualty (P&C) rate‑filing review services over a three‑year period. The contractor will act as a lead actuary, reviewing rate filings, preparing recommendation memos, participating in hearings, and offering training and support to the Department. The work is performed remotely with occasional travel for meetings or training. The contract’s maximum value is $435,000, capped at $145,000 per fiscal year, and requires a lead actuary who is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and holds appropriate actuarial society memberships.
