Solar Hot Water Systems, Design, Installation, Service on Call

Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) seeks qualified firms to provide on‑call design, installation, replacement, and ongoing maintenance services for solar‑thermal hot‑water systems across its school facilities. The contract will be awarded on a qualifications‑based basis and will last up to four years with two optional one‑year extensions. Contractors must hold New Mexico plumbing/gas‑fitting licenses, possess engineering expertise in solar‑thermal design, and be able to respond to service calls within 48 hours. The scope includes full engineering design, procurement, installation, and post‑installation support, as well as routine and emergency maintenance. APS will provide project management tools (e‑Builder, School Dude) and requires performance and payment bonds for projects over $25,000, as well as comprehensive insurance coverage.
