The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified contractors to upgrade and improve the power system at the Jackson Pike Water Reclamation Plant. The scope includes replacing multiple substations and converting fused primary switches to vacuum circuit breakers, with additional work as needed to complete the project. • Replace four (4) unit substations. • Replace fused primary switches with vacuum circuit breakers in ten (10) unit substations. • Replace two medium‑voltage fused switches with vacuum circuit breakers. • Perform any ancillary work required to fully modernize the plant’s power infrastructure. • Must submit bids exclusively via Bid Express by the deadline; pre‑bid meeting and plant walk‑through are strongly recommended.
