Term Contract for Deicing Chemicals as specified for Juneau International Airport (JNU)

The City & Borough of Juneau is seeking a term contract for the purchase and delivery of deicing chemicals for Juneau International Airport. The contract term will be from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with an automatic annual renewal period for four additional years. The supplier must provide CG 90 Surface Saver or a City-approved equivalent, packaged in 2,000 lb. bladders. The product must meet specific technical specifications, including a composition of Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate, and Diammonium Phosphate. • The supplier must guarantee that their product will be free-flowing and will not cake or harden enough to hinder use in a spreader for a six-month period. • The supplier must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and City laws and regulations. • The supplier must provide evidence of compliance with the bid specifications and contract requirements. • The supplier must submit a pricing schedule and complete all required solicitation documents. • The City reserves the right to determine the suitability of the product offered and to reject any bid that does not meet the requirements.
