Insurance Broker Services

The City of Arvada is seeking a qualified firm to provide brokerage and risk management services for its property, casualty, fidelity bond, general liability, umbrella, and other insurance coverages. The successful candidate firm will partner with the City to identify emerging areas of risk, maintain costs, and provide loss control services. The firm will be responsible for assessing the City's insurance needs, marketing the City's insurance coverage requirements to compatible insurance carriers, and administering claims submittals. The firm will also serve as a resource for risk management and loss control services, training, and industry relations. Key aspects of the job include: • Assigning staff to assess the City's insurance needs and provide recommendations • Marketing the City's insurance coverage requirements to compatible insurance carriers • Representing the City in negotiations with insurers or prospective insurers • Administering claims submittals • Providing options for financing insurance premiums • Serving as a resource for risk management and loss control services, training, and industry relations • Providing an annual report detailing the City's insurance program structure
