The City of Napa’s Parks & Recreation Department is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive tree maintenance services across municipal right‑of‑way, park, and other public properties. Services include routine pruning, tree and stump removal, emergency hazardous tree removal, stump grinding, tree planting, and related clean‑up, performed on an hourly basis. Contractors must supply all labor, equipment (bucket trucks, chippers, stump grinders, cranes, etc.), and must adhere to ANSI A300, ISA pruning guidelines, OSHA, and local safety standards. No subcontracting of core pruning/removal work is allowed, though specialty equipment subcontracting is permitted. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous proposal after evaluation of experience, staffing, pricing, approach, and references.
