The State of Colorado, Department of Corrections is seeking architectural and engineering professional services for the renovation of the existing inmate shower facilities in FCF Living Units 7 and General Population ADA Improvements at the Fremont Correctional Facility. The selected firm will provide basic services as described in the sample Architect/Engineer/Consultant Agreement and Terms and Conditions of the Contract. The project includes the addition of new showers to the two upper tiers, renovation of the existing shower areas on the first floor, and provision of ADA showers. The project aims to address life safety, security, and PREA concerns. • The project has an estimated cost of $2,343,652 for Living Unit 7 Shower Improvements and $3,077,054 for ADA Improvements. • The project requires a design/bid/build approach. • The selected firm will be required to provide an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) that meets the maximum acceptable global warming potential (GWP) limits for each eligible material specified for the project. • The project requires a mandatory pre-submittal conference and site tour. • The project has a tentative schedule with key milestones including request for qualifications issuance, request for clarifications due, submittals due, and oral interviews.
