DOC North Central Correction Facility Replacement Windows

The State of Iowa - Department of Administrative Services is seeking a design firm to replace 32 exterior wood windows in the Education Building at the North Central Correctional Facility. The project budget is currently $142,000, but this is outdated and needs to be revised. • The project requires coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and compliance with their requirements. • The designer will need to provide a project-specific Certificate of Insurance and a Professional Liability policy of $2,000,000 with a deductible of $25,000. • The designer will need to register with the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System prior to submission. • The proposal should include a project-specific schedule, resumes for technical staff, anticipated hours and rates, and a lump sum broken down by schedule of values.
