The USDA Forest Service is soliciting quotations for a new prime‑diesel generator to be installed at the Nez Perce‑Clearwater National Forest in Orofino, Idaho. The generator must deliver 45‑50 kW at 120/240 V, 1‑phase, meet NFPA 110 standards, include a spark arrestor, block and battery heaters, safety grounding and emergency stop, and be skid‑mounted with an open design. A minimum two‑year (five‑year preferred) warranty and a dealer within 75 mi are required, and delivery must include unloading equipment. This is a total small‑business set‑aside RFQ with a firm‑fixed‑price award.
