2027 Rock Salt for Drinking Water Softening

The City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, is seeking bids for the supply of 8,000 tons of Coarse Southern United States Rock Salt for drinking water softening. The Rock Salt must meet American Water Works Association (AWWA) specification B200-22 and be NSF60 compliant. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive, and most responsible bidder. The project is expected to start on January 1, 2027, and be completed by December 31, 2027. • The bidder must provide a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than 10% of the bid price. • The bidder must submit a completed Manufacturers list and Subcontractors list. • The bidder must provide proof of insurance and a surety letter of intent. • The contract will be funded by the City of Carmel. • The bidder must comply with all existing laws prohibiting discrimination. • The bidder must provide a non-collusion affidavit and a bid bond.
