Budget estimate

$250,000 – $350,000

The RFQ calls for roughly 6,000 tons of aggregate (combining Minus‑1‑Inch, 1‑ton and 2‑ton rock). Market rates for bulk construction stone in Southern California typically range from $30 to $55 per ton, depending on grade and haul distance. Assuming an average of $40/ton, the total material cost would be about $240,000. Adding haul rates, taxes, and a modest profit margin could raise the contract value to between $250,000 and $350,000. Smaller vendors with local quarries may bid at the lower end, while larger suppliers covering longer hauls could be at the higher end.
