Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking sources for the refurbishment of a Cincinnati vertical boring mill at Hoover Dam. The machine requires a complete overhaul due to significant wear and inability to hold tolerances. The refurbishment will involve several tasks, including dismantling and shipment of the boring mill, overhaul of gearboxes and other components, refurbishment or replacement of motors and controls, reassembly and commissioning, and test cut validation. Interested contractors should submit capability statements, including company information, small business status, relevant experience, and technical capability.
