Inspection, maintenance and repair of cryogenic storage tanks.

The Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) is seeking a contractor to provide inspection, maintenance, and repair services for cryogenic storage tanks. The contractor will be responsible for semi-annual inspections and routine maintenance of four cryogenic tanks, including replacing relief valves and performing leak detection. The contractor will also provide written recommendations for repairs and perform emergent repairs as needed. The period of performance is from 14-Jan-2026 to 13-Jan-2029, with a base year and two option years. • The contractor must have expert working knowledge of cryogenic vessels and vacuums. • The contractor must possess all necessary tools and equipment to perform helium mass spec leak detection. • The contractor must have vacuum pumps capable of evacuating the tank annulus down to 0.005 torr or less. • The contractor must be capable of TIG welding and silver brazing to make repairs. • The contractor must maintain the listed cryogenic tanks' ability to hold cryogenic liquids without excessive boiloff.
