Cell Tower Lease

The City of Norwich is soliciting proposals to select a Tenant to lease, manage, operate, and maintain the antenna and wireless communications activities located at 50 Clinton Avenue, Norwich, Connecticut. The lease term shall commence on November 21, 2025, and continue until November 20, 2035, with up to two 10-year extensions. The Tenant shall maintain the tower and related equipment and allow the City’s public safety communications equipment on the tower. Proposers shall submit a proposal package, including at least three references, and a bid bond for the amount of one year’s lease payment. The City reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract and to award the contract to the Proposer that best meets the requirements of the RFP. • The lease term is for 10 years with two possible 10-year extensions. • The Tenant is responsible for maintaining the tower and related equipment. • The City reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract. • The City reserves the right to award the contract to the Proposer that best meets the requirements of the RFP. • A bid bond for the amount of one year’s lease payment is required. • Proposers must submit at least three references as part of the proposal package.
