INSURANCE: VOLUNTARY (EMPLOYEE PURCHASED) – VISION

The County of Cameron is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a fully insured, voluntary vision‑benefit program for its employees on an employee‑purchased (cafeteria‑plan) basis. The contractor will administer the plan, maintain an in‑network provider network, process payroll deductions, generate monthly performance reports, and ensure continuity of coverage for all currently enrolled participants. Three contract structures are permissible: a fixed‑price three‑year term, a two‑year term with annual renewal adjustments, or a one‑year term with up‑to‑two renewal options. The award will support approximately 953 active participants with tiered monthly premiums ranging from $4.29 to $8.57 per employee.
