Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking domestically manufactured surgical lights with HD wireless cameras and remote control for the Boston VAMC's Electrophysiology Lab. The surgical lights must be compatible with the existing Philips fluoroscopy system and have specific features such as fully cardanic surgical light with endoscopy function, HD wireless camera, and remote control. The contractor must provide all necessary components, including the lighthead, camera, extension arm, spring arm, external power supply, adapters, receiver, video cabling, mounting hardware, and remote-control equipment. Some key features required include: • HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 • Frame rate of 60Hz • Optical zoom of 10 fold and digital zoom of 16 fold • 1 HDMI video output • Wireless protocol with no specific requirement • 180-degree image rotation • Autofocus • Remote control functions for rotation, zoom, focus, brightness, and power on/off The VA is seeking capability statements from interested parties to determine if there are domestically manufactured items that can satisfy their requirements.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate as the document does not provide a specific budget or payment amount. However, based on the complexity of the project and the requirements for the surgical lights, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000. This estimate is influenced by the cost of similar medical equipment and the fact that the VA is seeking domestically manufactured items.
