Intent to Award - Other than Full and Open Competition

The U.S. Department of State intends to award a noncompetitive contract extension to the incumbent contractor for the continued provision of Group Medical Coverage (GMC) Health Insurance Services. The contract extension will be for a period of six months, from May 18, 2026, to November 17, 2026. The services will be provided to approximately 929 Locally Employed (LE) Staff members and their eligible dependents, totaling around 2,993 covered individuals. The purpose of the modification is to ensure continuity of critical services while a competitive follow-on acquisition is being processed.
