No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.Prospective bidders are encouraged to review the RFP/lease documents and project location to become familiar with the existing conditions prior to submitting their proposal. The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L Chapter 30B. An optional pre-proposal site visit will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Premises, Plum Island Point Tower, 1 Plum Island Point Road, Newburyport MA 01950. The site visit is option but strongly recommended.Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive.Contract award is subject to the approval of the Mayor. The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the City.
