PROPERTY INSURANCE

The Washington County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide insurance coverage for buildings and building contents. The proposal should include a letter of intent from an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Arkansas, and the bidder must procure and maintain the required insurance coverage for the life of the contract. The contract will be awarded to the proposal with the lowest responsible and responsive bid that complies with the specifications listed. The bidder must meet or exceed existing coverage, and all policies will begin on July 1, 2025. The proposal should include the name of the provider/company, and the provider/company must have a B+ (XV) or above rating. • The bidder must quote 100% of all items within each category and list brand names on the items bid. • The bidder must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including affirmative action and equal employment opportunity responsibilities. • The bidder must provide a certificate of compliance relating to any laws and regulations. • The contract may be terminated with a 30-day written notice.
