SPECIAL NOTICE INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Swetman Security Services, Inc. for the provision of security services at the Mississippi State Port Authority in Gulfport, Mississippi. The contract requires the extension of East gate security hours from 0600-1800 Monday-Friday to 24 hours per day while NOAA vessels are in port. The contractor will be responsible for providing security guards to man the entrance gates. • The contract is for a firm-fixed-price. • The services are required to be performed while NOAA vessels are in port. • The contractor will be responsible for providing security guards to man the entrance gates. • The contract includes various clauses related to labor standards, safety and health, and contractor access to NOAA facilities.
