Cherokee County seeks a qualified consulting firm to lead a FEMA‑compliant update of its 2022 Multi‑Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The consultant will coordinate with public and critical‑infrastructure partners, refresh risk and vulnerability assessments, refine mitigation strategies, engage stakeholders, and produce deliverables for state and FEMA review, local adoption, and grant close‑out support. • Conduct a full FEMA‑compliant hazard mitigation planning process, including data collection, analysis, and stakeholder outreach. • Update risk, vulnerability, and mitigation strategy sections to reflect current conditions and emerging threats. • Prepare all required documentation, maps, and supporting materials for submission to the State and FEMA, and assist with the final adoption and grant close‑out phases.
