Locks and Hardware Supplier

The Citadel seeks a term‑contract vendor to supply a broad catalog of locks and hardware accessories—including Medeco high‑security cylinders, Dorma, LCN, Norton, Russwin, Arrow, Schlage, Corbin, Sargent, and Hager products—for an initial one‑year period with four optional one‑year extensions (maximum five years). The contract will be awarded to the responsive offer that meets technical specifications, provides required warranties, and complies with South Carolina vendor registration and preference policies. Offerors must be an authorized Medeco distributor for certain items, supply new sub‑assembled products, and be capable of fulfilling multiple purchase orders over the contract life. • Required products: cylinders, key blanks, padlocks, deadbolts, latches, housing assemblies, tailpieces, pins/springs, and assorted hardware. • Delivery: FOB Destination to The Citadel locations; all items must be new with manufacturer’s warranty. • Contract terms: unit‑price based, annual renewal options, CPI‑based price adjustments allowed after 90‑day notice, and mandatory insurance and warranty documentation. • Socio‑economic preferences: resident vendor/contractor/sub‑contractor preferences, US/SC end‑product preference, and optional minority business participation disclosure.
