The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an architectural/engineering firm to design the replacement and expansion of ceiling‑mounted patient lifts across three Community Living Center (CLC) buildings (B331, B348, B360) on the Palo Alto‑Menlo Park VA campus. The scope includes full field surveys, structural and seismic analysis, MEP and fire protection design, BIM modeling, specifications, cost estimating, phasing plans for occupied patient rooms, and a five‑year construction support package (RFI responses, submittal reviews, weekly meetings, site inspections, as‑builts). The design effort must comply with VA design guides, California seismic requirements, and NEPA documentation.
