The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation is accepting bids for truck chassis that meet or exceed the specifications provided. The bid is for new, unused vehicles with a minimum gasoline or diesel engine of 335hp, a torque minimum of 468 lb./ft., and a heavy-duty cooling system. The chassis should have a wheelbase of 212", a cab to axle distance of 102", and an axle to frame distance of 70". The vehicle should also have a minimum GVWR of 33,000 and a minimum GCWR of 33,000. Other specifications include a 6-speed automatic transmission, a power steering system, and a heavy-duty disc brake system. • The bid price must remain in effect for the duration of the 2026 Model Year production. • The State of Montana reserves the right to examine products further to determine compliance with the stated specifications. • The successful bidder must provide vehicles with the same specifications and of the same model year if contacted by the State or a Cooperative Entity for a future purchase. • The bidder must deliver vehicles to the requesting agencies with 300 miles or less. • The bidder must comply with the attached specifications and the State's standard terms and conditions.
