RFQ #25-08 - SPORTS WAGERING SERVICE PROVIDER(S) FOR RI LOTTERY - Addendum #1

The Rhode Island Lottery Commission is seeking a Sports Wagering Service Provider(s) to provide sports wagering services for the Rhode Island Lottery. The selected provider will be responsible for providing a full-service sports wagering solution, including online and retail sports wagering, as well as customer support and marketing services. The provider will also be required to comply with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements. Some key aspects of the job include: * Providing a sports wagering platform that meets the Lottery's requirements * Providing customer support and marketing services * Complying with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements * Providing a full-service sports wagering solution, including online and retail sports wagering * Meeting the Lottery's guidelines for tolerable risk exposure per event and/or market * Submitting recommendations related to odds and market changes, risk limit adjustments, market suspensions and event cancellations, and incident mitigating actions for the Lottery's consideration * Providing a system that generates a physical bet slip * Providing a companion retail bet slip generation app (optional) * Providing a system that can accept the daily file from the Lottery regarding patrons who are subject to offset withholding requirement * Providing a system that can file a Form W-2G for every person for winnings meeting or exceeding the applicable reporting threshold * Providing a system that can withhold federal and state income tax from winnings * Key points to consider for the client's business specialty: * The client should have experience in providing sports wagering services * The client should have a strong understanding of the regulatory and statutory requirements for sports wagering in Rhode Island * The client should have a robust system for managing risk and ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements * The client should have a strong marketing and customer support strategy to attract and retain customers
