Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking architect-engineer (AE) services for airfield design and evaluation projects Worldwide. The selected firms will provide design services, construction support services, and other related tasks for military airfield projects. The contract will be an indefinite delivery contract (IDC) with a five-year ordering period and a shared capacity of $99,000,000. The Government intends to negotiate and award a target of six IDCs. The services will include preparation of studies, analysis, design services, and construction support services for Military airfield projects.
• Design of horizontal airfield construction projects
• Design of military facilities incidental to airfield design
• Developing Request-For-Proposal packages for design/build and design/bid/build horizontal and vertical projects
• Use and development/updates to Army and Air Force design guidance
• Planning/Programming services for airfields
• Experience with construction phase support services
• Experience conducting pavement destructive and non-destructive testing/evaluations
• Experience using the PCASE Pavement Design & Evaluation Software
• Experience implementing the PAVER Pavement Management System
• Experience completing Airfield Obstruction Surveys
