Harriot Street Lift Station Rehabilitation

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) seeks qualified contractors to fully rehabilitate the Harriot Street Lift Station in Beaumont, Texas. The scope includes demolition of the existing lift‑station structures, installation of new submersible pumps, construction of a new wet well, valve vault, concrete control building, associated electrical and control systems, site improvements (fencing, driveway, parking), new water line extensions, storm‑water pollution prevention measures, and extensive utility work such as force main, gravity sewer, and manhole installations. The project must comply with EPA funding requirements, Davis‑Bacon prevailing‑wage rules, DBE participation, and Build America/Buy America provisions. A mandatory pre‑bid conference is scheduled, and all bidders must submit the required forms, bonds, insurance, and certifications. • Demolition of existing lift‑station building, dry pit, wet well, pumps, and related equipment. • Supply and install new submersive pumps, control building (20’ × 14’ prefabricated concrete), electrical service, MCC, VFD, standby generator receptacle, and PLC programming. • Construct new wet well, valve vault, concrete foundations, and associated piping (36” DI force main, 36” DI gravity line, 18” PVC gravity sewer). • Install new 48” fiberglass manholes, junction boxes, and bypass pumping system. • Perform site improvements: chain‑link fence, gate, concrete driveway/parking, new water service line, water meter, and site restoration (sodding). • Provide storm‑water pollution prevention, groundwater control, shoring, trench safety systems, and related geotechnical documentation. • Complete all required federal and local certifications, DBE documentation, and BABA compliance.
