Recycling Services

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide recycling services at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington. The contractor will be responsible for collecting, processing, marketing, and transporting recyclable materials, as well as operating an on-base Recycling Center. The contractor will also be required to provide education to the base populace on recycling and to maintain records of recyclable materials collected and sold. The contract will include a Performance Work Statement (PWS) that outlines the specific requirements and tasks that the contractor must perform. Some key aspects of the job include: * Collecting recyclables from all workspaces identified in Appendix A * Processing and marketing recyclable materials * Maintaining the Recycling Center facility and equipment * Providing education to the base populace on recycling * Maintaining records of recyclable materials collected and sold * Complying with federal, state, and local laws and regulations * Coordinating with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and other government personnel as necessary.
