RFP-885 Architect DMA - KYARNG SMS Builder Assessments

The Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet is seeking a professional services firm to perform facility condition assessments and update the BUILDER Sustainment Management System (BUILDER SMS) for facilities within the State of Kentucky. The selected firm will be responsible for assessing the condition of facilities, updating the BUILDER SMS, and providing reports on the condition of the facilities. The firm will also be required to perform data entry and maintenance, as well as provide photographic evidence of items coded as 'Red' (indicating significant deficiencies). The project budget is $750,000.00 for design. The scope of work includes: • Data Integrity: Ensure the BUILDER system contains a complete and accurate inventory of facilities. • Condition Assessments: Perform facility condition assessments, utilizing the Direct Rating Assessment method. • Data Entry & Maintenance: Update BUILDER SMS with the assessment data. • Reporting: Consolidate analyzed information into updated reports for each site. The selected firm will be required to have a team that includes, at a minimum, an Architect, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and Structural Engineer. The firm will also be required to provide references from similar projects and to register with the Kentucky Secretary of State. Some key points to consider: • The project requires the services of an Architect and/or Engineer registered in Kentucky. • The utilization of minority-owned design professional firms is encouraged. • The project is subject to reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders. • The contract will be awarded based on best value, with consideration given to factors such as firm experience, project team, and price.
