Description
The City of Eden Prairie is seeking qualified contractors to rehabilitate its existing backwash water storage tanks. The scope includes complete interior and exterior surface preparation, structural modifications, seal welding, installation of new manways, abrasive blasting, coating, and final site restoration. All work must be performed in‑place, compliant with municipal specifications, and submitted through the QuestCDN electronic bidding platform.
• Complete interior wet surface repairs, abrasive blasting, and protective coating of tank interiors.
• Exterior preparation, spot abrasive blast, and coating of tank shells and ancillary structures.
• Structural modifications such as seal welding of seams, replacement of manway gaskets, installation of new pressure‑style manways, and roof/vent modifications.
• Mobilization, bonding, insurance, and site restoration including removal of existing fences and installation of new hand railings and nameplates.
• Coordination with City officials for pre‑bid conference (July 1) and online bid opening (July 8).
