PROPANE

The County of Moore is seeking bids for the provision of propane gas to its facilities. The contract will be for approximately 20 months, from October 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028. The successful bidder will be required to provide approximately 60,000 gallons of propane gas to the County's facilities. The bidder must clearly identify any costs associated with tank replacement or tank lease fees. The County owns two tanks and leases 36 tanks, and all tanks should have tank monitors installed and programmed to notify the propane provider at no lower than 35% to be refueled. • The bidder must provide a bid cost per gallon of propane gas above/below the state contract price. • The bidder must provide the cost to replace a tank (per tank) and the annual cost to lease a tank (per tank). • The bidder must include a signed bid form, notarized non-collusion affidavit, notarized E-Verify affidavit, and W-9 form with their bid. • The bidder must comply with the North Carolina Workers' Compensation Act and provide for the payment of workers' compensation to its employees. • The bidder must maintain minimum insurance coverage, including general liability, auto liability, and umbrella coverage.
