Engineering Services for Ontario Road Substation and Mortensen Road Substation Improvements

The City of Ames is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive design, procurement, and construction management services for substation improvement projects at the Ontario Road Substation and Mortensen Road Substation in Ames, Iowa. The scope of work includes replacement of existing 13.8kV metal-clad switchgear, addition of 69kV breakers, and modification of 69kV bus arrangements. The selected firm will be responsible for providing all necessary engineering services, including design, procurement, and construction management.
