Intent to Sole Source VICADS upgrade

The US Air Force intends to award a non-competitive firm fixed priced purchase order to Prometheus Security Group Global for the installation, configuration, and testing services for the Security Forces VICADS system at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The scope of work includes providing and installing four HD PTZ CCTV cameras and thirty-six 12 TB SAS HDD HP hard drives in three servers compatible with the current CCTV system. The contractor will be responsible for programming all equipment, providing all required cables and brackets, and ensuring all equipment functions properly on site. Some key points about the job and its scope of work include: • The contractor must provide and install all required equipment and ensure it is functioning properly on site. • The contractor must replace and install the current 6 TB Hard drives with thirty-six 12 TB SAS HDD HP hard drives. • The contractor must install four pole-mounted PTZ Flight Line Cameras and provide all required equipment, cables, and brackets. • The contractor must program all equipment and ensure it ties into the two main head-ins and is viewable at both Base Defense Operation Centers (BDOC) and Alt BDOC.
