Banking Services

The Montgomery County Treasurer's Office is seeking proposals for banking services, including depository and banking services. The successful proposer will provide comprehensive services, competitive pricing, and a high-quality transition of services. The contract will be for an initial two-year term, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The proposer must provide information on their background and experience, resumes of key personnel, and a statement indicating the method for determining the rate of interest on overnight sweep accounts. The proposer must also provide a description of their business disaster and business recovery plan. Some key points about the job and scope of work include: • Processing the Treasurer's daily deposit • Serving as the clearing bank for County warrants • Providing on-line wire transfer services • Providing daily automatic repurchase agreement, or similar investment, of collected balances • Providing on-line services through a secure Internet-based system • Serving as the originating institution for ACH transactions • Providing capability for Treasurer and Auditor to originate ACH debits and credits through a secure Internet-based system • E-Lock Box Services • Supplying printed checks and deposit slips for Treasurer's account • Providing monthly statements • Providing routine operational services • Special services, such as accommodating special requests for cash for the Sheriff's Office The evaluation criteria for this proposal include financial and regulatory qualifications, service quality and operational capabilities, information security and risk management, performance history and past performance, and pricing and financial terms.
