This project involves extensive renovation of Firth Road and adjacent downtown sidewalks in the Village of Firth, Nebraska, encompassing demolition, concrete work, curb and gutter installation, ADA improvements, utility conduit placement, and related site work. The scope covers two bid sections (A and B) with detailed quantities for pavement removal, new sidewalk construction, curb ramps, drainage, and erosion control. The work must be completed by mid‑2027, with an estimated contract value between $200K and $240K.
• Removal of ~24 SY concrete pavement and 634 SY sidewalk; installation of new curbs, gutters, and 656 SY of 4″ sidewalk pavement.
• ADA compliance elements: detectable warning panels, curb ramps, and ramp adjustments.
• Utility work: installation of PVC conduit (500 LF of 1‑½″ and 500 LF of 1″ schedule 40), mailbox and bench relocation, and erosion control measures.
• Additional tasks in Section B include further sidewalk construction, curb grinding, storm pipe installation, crosswalk striping, temporary erosion blankets, urban seeding, and inlet protection.
