Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2021

The Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2021 is a grant program that supports teams of alumni of U.S. government-sponsored international exchange programs with funding from $5,000 to $50,000 to support public service projects. The program aims to empower youth and strengthen STEAM education in the Dominican Republic through experiential learning projects. Proposals should address one or more of the priority areas, including engaging high school students from underserved communities in STEM-based programs, developing solutions to address climate change and local environmental issues, and developing solutions to address current health challenges. • The program is open to teams of at least two alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. • Proposals must be submitted in English and using the official AEIF 2021 forms. • The budget should be in U.S. dollars and presented using the official AEIF budget form. • The program will review and select proposals based on criteria such as purpose and summary, relevance to STEAM education, degree of alumni involvement, participation and support from local partners, evaluation and impact, sustainability, and communication and outreach plan.
